What's New in immunoSEQ Analyzer
___

Our 2016 Fall Software Release brings exciting new functionality to the immunoSEQ Analyzer, including a major redesign of our Published Projects open-access database, which is now named immuneACCESSTM. Here are the details about the new features and enhancements you'll see the next time you log in to the Analyzer.

immuneACCESS

Explore the world's largest open-access database of TCR and BCR sequences! Share your own data with the world, and collaborate with other researchers in your field to advance discovery.

  • Browse projects across multiple disciplines by area of research interest

  • Easily search and filter samples and projects

    • Samples: sample type, genes, amino acid, or nucleotide sequence

    • Projects:  disorder, sample source, sample tag, loci...

  • Browse all samples independent of the project they're associated with

  • See previews of project analyses while browsing to quickly understand the important findings

Streamlined Manuscript Review

  • Using immuneACCESS you can make your data available to reviewers before making it available to everyone. Bring your publication to life by letting the review committee interact with your data during the review process! If you'd like to make your immunoSEQ Data available in immuneACCESS for reviewers, contact customercare@adaptivebiotech.com

Search Feature Syntax Tips

  • Use multiple terms in a search.
Example: "TCRB Robins" will return any project containing both TCRB and Robins.

  • Use quotes to create a single term from multiple words
Example: 'TCRB "secreted antibodies"' will return any project containing both TCRB and the term secreted antibodies.

  • Exclude terms by using the minus sign character
Example: "mouse CAWTLLPGTGELFF -spleen" returns will include any mouse samples that include the amino acid, CAWTLLPGTGELFF, that are not from the spleen.

Sample Overlap Tool

Analyze the similarity between two samples using Overlap, R Squared, Jaccard Index, or Morisita Index. An overlap matrix is created as a TSV file and a heatmap PDF. You can also create a scatterplot matrix of every sample vs. every sample.

There are a number of parameters you can specify to see the data you're interested in:

  • Select productive rearrangements

  • Match by nucleotide sequence or amino acid

  • Specify the color gradient and gradient direction used for heatmaps

We hope you enjoy using the new Analyzer Tools and exploring our new open-access database, immuneACCESS. As always, we welcome and value your feedback and questions. Email techsupport@adaptivebiotech.com to share your feedback on the new functionality or let us know how we can be of service.

Our Software Engineering Team is already hard at work on more Analyzer improvements for the winter release, so stay tuned for more great updates next quarter.
